Resmed, ŌURA Team Up for Sleep Health Education

Resmed and ŌURA are partnering to expand access to sleep health education and pathways to care in order to help more people sleep better and improve their health.

Insights from wearable devices like the Oura Ring can help people better understand sleep patterns and encourage them to have informed conversations with healthcare providers to learn more about possible sleep disorders, including obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). OSA is a chronic condition that disrupts breathing during sleep and often goes undiagnosed and untreated.

The two companies are teaming up to help close the awareness gap. Oura members with a higher number of nighttime breathing disturbances can connect to trusted sources from Resmed.

Educational resources and a sleep assessment can help patients understand more about sleep health. There’s an option to connect with an independent healthcare provider virtually or in-person to address sleep concern, as well as an informative guide to support discussions with healthcare providers.

The duo aims to connect consumer-generated wellness insights with Resmed’s sleep health resources, helping Oura members take a more informed next step to better understand their sleep health.
